Filters Unlimited 2.0

Tube:

A tube of your choice

 

Brush - Doodles:

A brush or doodles of your choice

(you might even be able to use a

dingbat font)

All settings will remain the same,
unless otherwise noted 

 

 

Preparation

 
1  File > Open
Tube of Choice
 
2  Window > Duplicate
Close original
 
3  Dropper Tool
Left click for medium light
foreground color
Right click for medium dark
background color
 
4  Window > Duplicate
Move one copy to the side
 
 
Pattern
 
1  On tube
Layers > Duplicate
 
2  Layers Palette
Make Bottom Layer active
 
3  Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur
Settings:
Angle = 90, Strength = 100
 
4  Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur
Settings:
Angle = 270
 
5  Layers > New Raster Layer
 
6  Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
 
7  Flood Fill Tool
Settings:
Match mode = None
Use all layers = Not checked
Blend mode = Normal
Opacity = 100
Left click to fill with foreground color
 
8  Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
 
9  Adjust > Softness > Soft Focus
Settings:
Softness & Edge importance = 50
Include scattered light = Checked
Amount = 90, Halo = 23
Halo visibility = 63
 
10  Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling
Settings: Default
Use drop down menu to set to default
 
11  Minimize the pattern
 
 
Header - Tag
 
1  File > Open
GC_Neha_Temp_Header.pspimage
Note: It will be blank but don't worry,
the alpha channels are on there
 
2  Window > Duplicate
Close the original
 
3  Selections > Load/Save Selection >
Load Selection From Alpha Channel
Settings:
Selection #1
Replace selection = Selected
Invert image = Not checked
Move to upper left of canvas = Not checked
 
4  Materials Palette
Set Background to pattern
Settings:
Pattern = Pattern you just made
Angle = 45, Scale = 100
Texture = Not checked
 
5  Flood Fill Tool
Right click to Fill selection with pattern
 
6  Selections > Select None
 
7  Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur
 
8  Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur
Settings:
Angle = 90
 
9  Layers > Duplicate
 
10  Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Clipping = 5
Luminance only = Checked

Edit > Paste > Paste as New Layer

Move the tube to your liking

Settings:
Choose a Brush of your liking with settings
of your choice (I used sr_mystical_021 in
my sample) Place it so it shows in the left
upper corner and Right click so it is in
background color
Note: You could use a colorized doodle instead

Adjust the size to your choice
Rotation = 90
Right click to add the brush so part of it
comes out from under the side border

Add elements/accents to the side border
if you like
 
35  File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
 
 

That's it, you're done :)

Now you can assemble your

stationery in LC or OE
